About S Owens

I've been a massive fan of photography all my life. When I finely got my first camera that was it i was hooked, and with being autistic, I became hyper focused on it. I have achieved my AWPF award in November 2023, and looking at taking on the next challenge in between doing all my other photography work. I also do wildlife and landscapes. It really amazes me how much I can capture on camera, whether it be people, pets or wildlife. I take great pride and take great care in making sure my photos are of the very best they can be. Each photo i edit my self to achieve the best results for each photo taken. My children have been a massive help in my photography journey as well as my friends and family.  I enjoy going for walks just to see what I can find and photograph and talking to new people and making them happy with the photos I have taken off them or for them. My son has now got his own camera, so its really nice to share this hobby together. I love working with animals, its something I've done all my life, so I have great patience with them to capture that perfect photo. The same with children, I have my little lens buddy, Mr octopus and he helps keep the children focused on the camera. Before I started doing photography I suffered with bad mental health and anxiety, I have noticed its fading away ever since i picked up my first camera and has made me feel more alive.
